Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Construction Manager to help oversee and manage a residential build-to-rent project from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a background in residential construction, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Duties:
- Help plan, coordinate, and oversee construction from conception to completion
- There will be times this position requires janitorial activities including picking up materials, trash, and helping maintain a clean job site.
- Minor punchout work from time to time
- Help execute the quality control process and ensure houses are turned over to the property manager in an acceptable manner
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and cost estimates
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with residential construction preferred
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
