Description


Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide recruitment and onboarding support for PMC cities as assigned. The Talent Operations Representative provides support to candidates and associates for questions, issues, and challenges related to recruitment and onboarding administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand area(s) staffing needs and promote roles accordingly
  • Screen and interview candidates for assigned area(s)
  • Effectively source candidates from local workforce offices, schools, community centers, etc.
  • Use all avenues available for sourcing candidates while also thinking out of the box on other local sources
  • Gather data and details to effectively respond to both phone and online inquiries from associates and managers to resolve questions/issues.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with account openings and acquisitions to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Work to exceed leadership expectations when onboarding new associates or rehires efficiently to attain goal service standards.
  • Participate in district meetings as frequently as possible to maintain visibility in the field and communicate with leadership
  • Assist all managers with getting sites to par staffing levels and keep rosters clean
  • Oversee On the Job Training (OJT) in all areas
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess excellent phone and face to face communication skills.
  • Ability to be successful and remain calm with large volume onboarding tasks.
  • Attention to details within a face paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to clearly follow instructions and change focus of attention as job dictates.
  • Display patience and maintain a profession demeanor during challenging situations arising from staffing issues in the field.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of HR information regarding company and associates.
  • Possess a pleasant, profession, friendly and helpful demeanor.
  • Must understand, follow, and uphold all company policies and procedures.

Requirements and Experience

  • Hourly staffing experience preferred
  • High growth company experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-2 year minimum previous experience in an onboarding and/or recruiting position. Related customer service/hospitality/human resources/recurring experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong team building skills and ability to motivate others
  • Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate
  • Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary
  • Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes
  • Valid in-state drivers license with a clean driving record - Ability to pass PMCs background check and drug screening requirements
