A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

As a Regional Director of Operations, you ensure that guest service, account, city, and area managers perform all elements of the operation to contractual expectations. You are responsible for the overall business administration, strategy, and vision of market growth within your designated region. You manage, oversee, and provide leadership for all locations and associates within the territory. Working closely with operations management, you define performance measurements and implement strategies to increase productivity. Additionally, you develop and implement programs to improve guest and employee satisfaction. To ensure we have the best leadership for our teams as possible, you interview and hire for senior level management positions.

With great attention to detail, you manage operating, labor, and non-labor budgets. You also create, review, and maintain financials based on revenue analyses, budgets, profit-and-loss (P&L), and other accounting reports. With the information you uncover, you provide written and verbal weekly summaries on the operation to the COO. You collaborate with human resources and executive leadership to design programs that are market-competitive, reinforce organization strategy, and align with our business and sales objectives.

In addition to managing teams, you also work with outside vendors to increase business. You develop partnerships and market new business within the territory which includes valet parking, self-park, and other support services. With a focus on service standards, cost controls management, people development, revenue management control, and safety management, you lead your territory to success by example. Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

  • 5 years of multi-site operations management experience in the hospitality industry, OR a bachelor's'degree in business administration/related discipline with 3 years of experience in multi-site operations
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening upon hire
  • Use of personal cell phones may be required for work purposes

Experience in the parking or hospitality industry including guest and customer experience is preferred. Are you friendly and able to establish a good rapport with people easily?
