- Perform routine and repetitive work while maintaining a high standard of quality and quantity
- Setup and operate a variety of equipment needed to assemble components to produce finished products
- Setup and operate vibraseal equipment and make simple adjustments to maintain quality specifications
- Remove machine burrs from parts using hand deburring tools
- Use bench type power and hand tools, ultrasonic welding equipment, simple testing devices and quality gauges
- Package finished parts using established manual methods and/or packaging machines
- Complete and maintain applicable documentation
- Recognize defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, etc. with or without the use of visual aids
- Notify Quality of any out of spec parts
- Complete job duties through the use of standardized work
- Train, instruct and assist trainees throughout the training period
- Complete all daily 5S duties
- Perform these and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
- All team members are expected to keep their work area clean, organized and maintain a high level of safety and quality
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, including between shifts
- Ability to proceed on work assignments with minimum supervision or assistance
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work within High Performance Team (HPT) guidelines
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar and composition
- Requires basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret required paperwork with high degree of accuracy
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend and twist frequently, squat occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 55 lbs. rarely
- High school diploma or equivalent.
