The Sr. Business Intelligence Data Analyst has responsibility for analyzing and extracting insights from Parker's Customer Intelligence data, including, but not limited to Parker's Customer, Distributor, Division, operational and Product data. Analyzes requests for data analysis and develops solutions (including reports or presentations) to meet requirements of team and other Parker colleagues. Also responsible to maintain, enhance, monitor, enterprise Customer Experience (CX) reports, including investigate and resolve reporting issues of Parker Customer Experience Data, including Surveys, Distributors and Parker Divisions.

This position works in collaboration with business partners at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates, compiles and interprets key operational and statistical data, analyzes performance metrics, and generates a variety of value-added reports for all customers, including key performance indicators and critical success factors.
  • Perform statistical analysis on CX data, including but not limited to survey data, qualitative unstructured data, operational data and demographics.
  • Work with Customer Experience & Distribution Services team and CX champions around the company to analyze distributor and division information to discover trends and key insights that lead to identifying areas for improvement including projects to reduce cost to serve or improve market share.
  • Maintain and enhance as required the enterprise CX reporting, coordinating with appropriate divisions, groups, and or corporate personnel. Foster continuous improvement with CX reporting and analysis processes.
  • Assist department management as required on projects involving application of automation technologies to department processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis in support of business users across the enterprise.
  • Mentor and develop resources (such as training documents or hosting webinars) on self-service reporting capabilities and interpretation of data to drive customer loyalty and ultimately sales growth.
  • Using clear and concise communication, present analysis to leadership and key stakeholders for key decision making.
  • Support cross divisional project deployments to improve customer relations experiences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field (e.g., Data Science, Customer Experience, Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, ,)
  • 2 years minimum, 5 years preferred related experience such as data extraction and analytics, data quality, data visualization
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well on cross-functional teams
  • Good communication skills, being able to explain insights to all levels of an organization
  • Self-starter able to independently complete tasks accurately and quickly
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI report writing, including data connections, data mapping, and data visualizations
  • Proficient SQL skills for Microsoft Power BI report query design
  • Proficient query/report writing skills using SQL,
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot table design are required.
  • Experience using Natural Language Processing software or modeling a plus
  • Experience using Alteryx a plus
  • Experience using Siebel CRM, Oracle Engagement Cloud Service Request Module, JMP Pro statistical software, and or Qualtrics Survey software platform a plus
