The Shipping and Receiving associate ensure that all cycle counts, material control, warehouse, shipping and receiving functions are carried out promptly and accurately per policy and procedure. Maintain records and process necessary paperwork for various functions.

Supervision and Interaction:

No supervisory duties; however, the employee will interact with management, engineers, and personnel from multiple departments.

Essential Functions:

* Responsible for ensuring cycle counts are conducted in accordance with work instructions

* Verify count discrepancies & report cycle count results to warehouse supervisor

* Establish minimum count frequencies and time frames

* Establish all count frequency above the required minimum

* Other duties may be assigned, including the following:

* Stock and physically monitor all materials in the warehouse.

* Prepare shipments for delivery to customers or to other plants to meet ship deadlines & determines method of shipment.

* Operate forklift or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work areas.

* Deliver requisitioned items to production floor.

* Verify counts of all FG, SB, and RAs

* Responsible for housekeeping in designated areas.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED.

* Ability to operate a forklift

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

* U.S. Citizenship required

* Ability to communicate effectively plant wide
