Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle R12 Consultant with a strong financial background to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (R12) modules, particularly in the financial domain, and have a proven track record of successful implementations, upgrades, and support activities. The Oracle R12 Consultant will play a crucial role in analyzing financial requirements, designing solutions, configuring Oracle applications, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle R12 solutions, focusing on modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Consolidation.
• Design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite R12 financial modules and components to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Lead or participate in Oracle R12 financial implementation projects, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate finance users on Oracle R12 functionalities, processes, and best practices, enabling them to effectively utilize the system for financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
• Provide expertise in areas such as financial data migration, chart of accounts design, intercompany transactions, multi-currency management, period-end close processes, and financial reporting.
• Perform configuration changes, customization, and extension of Oracle R12 financial applications using tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, developers, and external consultants, to integrate Oracle R12 financial modules with other systems and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to resolve financial system problems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Stay updated with Oracle R12 financial releases, patches, and regulatory updates, evaluating their impact on existing configurations and business processes, and implementing necessary changes.
• Document functional specifications, configuration guides, process flows, and training materials for Oracle R12 financial modules, ensuring knowledge transfer and supportability of solutions.
• Provide thought leadership, strategic guidance, and recommendations for optimizing financial processes, improving system performance, and enhancing user experience within Oracle R12 environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, Oracle Certified Professional) preferred.
• Proven experience (5 years) as an Oracle R12 Consultant or similar role, with a focus on implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 financial modules.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle R12 financial applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Consolidation.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, regulatory compliance (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and industry best practices for financial management and reporting.
• Experience with financial data migration, conversion, and reconciliation activities, including familiarity with tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Financials Accounting Hub (FAH).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and deadlines in a dynamic environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead project teams, facilitate workshops, and mentor junior consultants.
• Strong customer focus, with a commitment to delivering value-added solutions and exceeding client expectations.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements.
