Park Village Health Care Center is Hiring a Hospitality Aide Near Philadelphia, OH

Shift: 9a-2p 5 days/week

General Job Summary:

Provides support to nursing department by completing tasks that do not require certification while promoting independence in accordance with safety standards. Observes and reports changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition to nurse or supervisor. Fosters self-respect and a feeling of worth in each resident by consistent understanding and kindness in care.

Scope of Job Tasks:

  1. Delivers and collects resident room trays.
  2. Delivers ice and water to residents.
  3. Provide one-on-one or group activities as directed by the nurse.
  4. Makes resident beds, changes linens, and organizes rooms to maintain a safe environment.
  5. Answers call lights in a timely manner within scope of practice.
  6. Assists new residents in transition to facility – labeling and putting away belongings, advising of meal and activities schedules, etc.
  7. Maintains clean work rooms, records resident data on various logs, and properly stores equipment.
  8. Attends required in-service training and meetings.
  9. Other tasks as assigned within scope of practice.
  10. Maintains Standard Precautions at all time to ensure proper infection control.
