Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dentist, you will diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients maintain good oral health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Examine x-rays to diagnose dental issues
- Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medical documentation
- Experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and patient assessment
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar practice management systems
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols
