Park Nicollet is Hiring a Med Surg Float Pool RN - 0.75 DN12 Near Saint Louis, MN

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Education/Experience:
BSN/BAN from a school of nursing required.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
1. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
2. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
3. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Additional Information:

Current RN licensure required. RN on the med surg inpatient float pool team at Methodist Hospital. No experience required, open to new grads. Candidate will have a supportive and personalized orientation that includes new grad classes and new grad COHORT, if applicable. Safe, patient centered care is the highest priority in all inpatient units. Candidate should enjoy a fast-paced work environment and be flexible, resilient, and adaptable. Units that candidate will float to include: observation, general medicine, short stay surgical, hospice/ oncology, orthopedic, and neuroscience. Opportunities to cross train into the IV team, telemetry, postpartum, critical care available. Must have BLS.
