Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Education/Experience:
Graduate of a school of nursing; Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
1. Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
2. Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
3. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
Additional Information:
This is for a 0.9 FTE, 12 hour, Day/Evening RN Circulator Position in Methodist Hospital Operating Room. Position will rotate weekends per departmental need, including up to every third weekend. Call may be required on off shifts and weekends per departmental need. Position will participate in Holiday Rotation.
