Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Previous experience preferred in the designated area.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines; validated ACLS and/or PALS skills specific to department requirements.
Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Additional Information:
Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team with locations in Maple Grove, St. Louis Park, and Burnsville.
RN- Pre/Post/PACU position
Pre/Post/PACU, Inpatient, ER, or ICU experience desired
ACLS and PALS Certification required or willling to complete within 90 days
FTE: 0.6

Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
