Position Summary:
Responsible for patient care under the supervision of the nursing staff. Primary responsibilities include transporting patients, maintaining the equipment and supplies in readiness for patient care. Orders and stocks supplies necessary for the daily functioning of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Education/Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful. Strong communication skills. Ability to effectively problem solve and to make sound decisions within the scope of the position.
