PORTER/VALET

As a Porter/Valet at Mt. Kisco Honda, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the dealership's overall cleanliness and organization. This position involves assisting customers, ensuring the appearance of the dealership is top-notch, and supporting the service and sales departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Park and retrieve customer vehicles in an organized and efficient manner.
• Keep the dealership's entrance, showroom, and exterior areas clean and presentable.
• Ensure that customer vehicles are handled with care and respect.
• Perform minor tasks, such as vacuuming, washing, and detailing vehicles as required.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to coordinate vehicle movement.
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance and organization of the dealership lot.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling vehicles.
• Assist with various dealership events and promotions as needed.
• Provide general support and assistance to other departments as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Customer service-oriented and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle customer vehicles with care and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation is a plus.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving moderate physical effort.

Experience:
- Cash handling experience, including operating a cash register and providing accurate change
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear instructions
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Previous experience in valet parking, dealership, or retail environment is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle cash transactions accurately, and the capability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. The Parking Attendant will be responsible for assisting customers with parking their vehicles, collecting parking fees, maintaining a clean parking lot, directing traffic, and providing exceptional customer service.
