Are you passionate about helping people pursue their dreams? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Admissions Advisor to grow our award-winning culinary school. As an Admissions Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring prospective students to embark on an exciting culinary journey.
Park City Culinary Institute is seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join our Admissions team as a Student Recruitment and Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our culinary institute by generating student enrolment through outbound phone calls, texts, emails, and other avenues. You will be a key contributor to our enrollment process, setting appointments with potential students and promoting our culinary programs.
The successful candidate will have previous sales and call experience, possess excellent communication skills, have a delightful phone personality, and have a strong ability to meet and exceed set goals. This is a fast-paced role with heavy outreach metrics where you will play a vital part in attracting and enrolling students for our amazing culinary programs!
Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Enrollment: Actively engage with prospective students educating them on our courses, leading tours of the campus, and coaching them on how to finance culinary school.
  • Deep Knowledge of the School and Courses: Develop a thorough understanding of our culinary arts courses to effectively communicate the value of our school to prospective students.
  • Lead management: Identify and reach out to potential students through various channels, such as online platforms, referrals, events, and partnerships, to generate leads and increase the applicant pool.
  • Relationship Building: Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, whether by phone, email, text, social media, or walk-ins, providing them with an exceptional experience from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Sales Techniques and Strategies: Utilize effective sales techniques, such as active listening, objection handling, persuasive communication, and relationship-building strategies to convert leads into enrolled students.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily and monthly call targets, enrollment targets, and sales quotas, consistently monitoring and reporting on progress towards goals.
  • CRM Utilization: Effectively utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage leads, track interactions, and maintain accurate records of student data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth admissions process, including collecting and reviewing applications, coordinating campus tours, processing payments, and providing accurate information about financial aid options.
  • Community Involvement: Represent our culinary school at local and regional events, such as college fairs and culinary expos, showcasing our unique offerings and generating interest among potential students.
Qualifications:
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales is required. Any sales experience in any field will be considered.
  • Calls per Day Metrics: Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned calls per day metrics, demonstrating excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Relationship Building: The ability to build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, educational institutions, and coworkers.
  • Knowledge of Sales and Processes: Familiarity with the sales process. Bonus points if you have education industry knowledge, including an understanding of various programs, admissions processes, financial aid options, and student enrollment strategies, but we will train the right person.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Admissions Sales Consultants should be able to articulate the value of our programs, build rapport with prospective students, and effectively address inquiries and concerns.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and a student-centric mindset to ensure a positive experience for prospective students throughout the admissions process.
  • Sales Techniques: Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies, including lead management, consultative selling, objection handling, and closing deals.
  • CRM and Technology Skills: Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other relevant software tools to manage leads, track interactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: The capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, handle rejection, and overcome challenges.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays, and occasional evenings, for student graduations, open houses, and other special events as needed.
Salary and Benefits:

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including subsidized health insurance, free cooking classes, paid holidays, and paid time off, and discounted merchandise.

Application Process: If you are enthusiastic with a natural ability for helping others find their passions, we would love to hear from you. Please submit the following documents:
