Job Description Summary

In this people management role, the Quality Control Supervisor will coordinate sample throughput and compliance activities within the Quality department as well as support development, validation, and external activities as needed.
This is a night shift position (3:00pm-11:30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the quality control operations to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
  • Lead a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support to successfully implement quality control strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine quality control requirements for new products and ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize processes.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals from different departments.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
