Position Mission

The EMR Software Support Analyst is responsible and accountable for supporting and maintaining the various business systems used by Parasol clients. This position is responsible for contributing to business system projects, ensuring solutions are implemented per client specifications and in-line with vendor and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ticket support and resolution for client business systems such as electronic medical records (EMR), Human Resources and Payroll (HRIS), Financial systems, Marketing systems, etc.
• Project task work as required by client project’s such as documentation, training, vendor selection process, workflow analysis, requirements analysis and cost analysis.
• Vendor management and contact as required to resolve tickets.
• Detailed documentation within service tickets on issue steps and resolution.
• Documentation in the Autotask knowledgebase of each client environment.
• Ability to make recommendations to optimize and best utilize client environment applications.

Requirements 

• Healthcare experience preferred; long-term healthcare support experience is a plus.
• At least three years of EMR software support in an enterprise environment is required.
• Excellent customer service on the phone, via email and in person
• Comfortable with multiple enterprise systems such as electronic medical records, financial systems, customer relationship management and human resources/payroll.
• The position is largely self-motivated and self-structured. The right candidate will be driven to be challenged and to succeed.
• Some infrequent travel required (up to 25%).
