Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director
Paramount Senior Living, a leading provider of senior living services in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director to join our team in Newark, DE. As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our senior living community, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the nursing home's operations, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services
  • Collaborate with the medical staff, nursing team, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident
  • Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all state and federal regulations and guidelines
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and dedicated team
  • Manage the facility's budget and financial operations, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the facility, residents, families, and the community
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
  • Assisted Living Facility Administrator or Nursing Home Administrator License is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a long-term care facility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies
  • Clinical or Nursing background is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of successfully managing operations, budgets, and staff in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Foster a culture of empathy, compassion, and support for both residents and staff
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and basic mathematics skills
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work every 6th weekend as "Manager on Duty"
