Responsibilities of Sales Representative:

• Selling lumber and building materials
• Answer customer questions and provide appropriate solutions
• Maintain performance based on goals and objectives
• Maintain a customer focus by listening actively and maintaining composure
• Working sales counter taking care of professional trade
• Quoting and selling millwork as well
• Communicates effectively and professionally with customers and managers, relaying all information affecting sales, market trends, and conditions, market segment performance and competitive situations.
• Prepares occasional reports, verbal or written, to support this communication.

Qualifications of Sales Representative:

• 3 years of sales experience required
• Construction sales experience required
• Need product knowledge and selling experience
• Strong team player, particularly as it relates to being ethical, honest, and trustworthy within the team and organization
• Ability to multi-task
• Proactive and creative ways to solve problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for sales representatives
