With gas being so high and frequency of travel, you should live in or within a very close driving distance to Freeland (and within our service area which excludes Hazleton & Hazle TWP). You will not make a decent wage otherwise.

If you do not see your area located here, there may be openings in other areas, but feel free to check back in upcoming months if your area isn't listed at all.

Currently we are looking for a pet sitter with a flexible schedule to fulfill daytime and evening pet sitting jobs. Overnight availability for sleepovers with pets in our clients' homes is preferred.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a pet sitting job which requires you to go into our client's homes and perform any of the following tasks:

Dog walking and/or dog/cat/small animal feeding, watering, waste removal, administering medications, provide love and attention to the pets, among other client requests such as bringing in the mail, newspaper and watering plants. We also offer overnight stays where we spend the night in our client's homes with their pets.

An employee of ParaMount Pet Care must:

Have a genuine love of animals, a valid driver's license, a clean background, own a smartphone to use our app, be available some holidays and weekends and commit to 6 months of employment to ParaMount Pet Care.

Additionally, we would love to share some insight on what we look for in a candidate as well as the type of people who are currently on our team! Candidates currently on our team possess a quality unlike many of the "ordinary" pet sitters out there. They possess not only skills with pets, but their people skills are unmatched! After all, we aim to please the clients and provide them with peace of mind when they are away. Finally, our team has the ability to work in an environment where the boss doesn't have to be a "helicopter boss" so to speak. They possess the skills to handle situations that arise and genuinely CARE enough to always do the right thing (even when no one's watching). Being reliable, showing up on time and going above and beyond are expected around here and it is an automatic behavior from everyone on the team.

The environment here at ParaMount Pet Care is nothing short of paramount! What started out as just a solo pet sitting and dog walking business has turned into a team of 15 employees and growing. All of our staff members work part time for us and typically most of them work a full or a part time day job as well, making our work lifestyle flexible.
