Paramount Care Centers is Hiring a RN UNIT MANAGER Near East Orange, NJ

Brookhaven Center for Rehab & Health Care, a 122-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Essex County, New Jersey, is in need of a Full Time RN Unit Manager for the sub-acute unit. As the Unit Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the unit to ensure that highest quality of patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Provide leadership and directions to the nursing team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

·Monitor patients’ outcome and satisfaction, making appropriate interventions and adjustment in the care plan as needed.

·Address performance issues through coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions.

·Participate in root cause analyses and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
  • Proven experience working as an RN in acute or long-term care settings.
  • Previous leadership or management experience is preferable.
  • Strong clinical skills, with expertise in patient assessment, care planning, and administration of nursing interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare information systems and electronic medical records.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on unit needs.
