What You'll Do

Rampart has ambitious goals. Working here, you will contribute to the foundation of next generation wireless capabilities. As a Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineer, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Develop Matlab implementations of novel Rampart technology
• Develop prototypes of novel signal processing algorithms for customers
• Design and peer review equalizers, filters, precoders, forward error correction, synchronization blocks, and other wireless communications algorithms.
• Lead prototype and development efforts for demonstrations to showcase Rampart's technology to potential customers
• Generate receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and bit error rate plots in Matlab and make design decisions from the results
• Participate in business development efforts such as customer meetings, creating project requirements, providing support to customers
• Teach and mentor junior DSP/wireless communications engineers
• Lead technical teams/projects

Are We a Match?

We're hiring for a broad range of roles and skills within the organization. Submit a resume if your experience aligns with any of the following:

• BS Degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering) and 10 years of relevant experience
• Probability, Random Variables, and Stochastic Processes (theory & simulation)
• Digital signal processing (theory, simulation, or software implementation)
• Experience in Matlab, Mathematica, C/C , python, etc
• Ability to write software simulations for some of the following: ROC curves, BER curves, modulation, OFDM, channel impairments, and equalization
