FT Maintenance Technician

Scope:

Seeking skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties in Miami, FL for immediate hire!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the appearance of common areas, lawns, and landscaping within the mobile home community.
• Assist with trash collection and ensure proper disposal of waste in designated areas.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry advancements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and common areas to maintain their functionality and appearance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Address maintenance requests from residents and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas that require attention and implement preventive maintenance measures.
• Collaborate with property management to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of residents.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and repairs performed.
• Respond to emergencies, such as leaks, power outages, and other urgent maintenance needs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance, preferably in a residential or multi-unit setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues in a professional manner.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks.Tech-savviness to use maintenance software for tracking and reporting.
