Job Title: RN Surgical Administrator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the surgical facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, ensuring optimal utilization of surgical suites and staff resources.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to streamline workflow and enhance patient care.
2. Compliance and Accreditation:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surgical procedures, patient care, and staff training.
- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment.
3. Financial Management:
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the surgery center budget.
- Monitor and control costs related to surgical supplies, equipment, and staffing.
- Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost-saving initiatives.
4. Staff Supervision and Development:
- Recruit, train, and supervise administrative and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
5. Patient Relations:
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
- Collaborate with front-office staff to optimize patient scheduling and registration processes.
- Implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives related to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of science in nursing. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in surgical center management, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
