The Director, Premium Audit will work a hybrid schedule from our Avon, CT office OR remotely.
The candidate must have 10 years in Commercial Insurance, specifically Workers Compensation, and General Liability with 5 years in a premium audit lead or supervisory role. This candidate is responsible for the overall performance of Paragon’s premium audit service to our internal and external customers. Will work collaboratively with Program Managers, Marketing, and Sr management to identify gaps in service and improve the premium audit experience overall. Works in tandem with the premium audit manager to resolve vendor issues. Recommends solutions, implements, and monitors results. Participates in meetings with carrier partners, shares data, reports, and outcomes with appropriate parties. Is well versed in unit statistical reporting issues and manages accordingly. May review and advise on complex audit situations to achieve timely resolutions. Ensures Paragon’s audit guidelines are current and maintained for our auditable programs. May be involved in responding to disputes, follows dispute resolution process to completion. Responsible for maintaining guidelines in accordance with Carrier, industry, and government rules and regulations.
