Paradise Dynasty is looking for a reliable, friendly, and energetic Host/Hostess for our Costa Mesa locations. They must be able to work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide a dining experience for guests which distinguishes our restaurants as being the unquestionable first choice.

Responsibilities for Host/Hostess

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ascertains their dining/lodging needs.
• Seats guests and manage the seating chart.
• Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Qualifications for Host/Hostess

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
