```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office setting and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience. We are looking to hire someone who is responsible and can appropriately schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient's appointments. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, making appointments, entering patient information, answering questions from patients, and arranging referral to dental specialists. You will be tasked with presenting treatment plans and payment options to patients and coordinate appointments for patients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dental office setting and possess strong communication skills.
```Responsibilities```
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and provide patients with their requests such as new patient calls, emergency calls, appointment scheduling, records request, and patient follow ups
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with dental record management, including filing and scanning documents
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information or escalate as needed
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
```Qualifications```
- Open Dental experience
- At least 1 year of verifying dental insurances and presenting treatment plans in a dental office setting
- Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance plan verification and billing
- Educate patients on available dental benefits
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Bilingual is preferred
