Job Summary:
- Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle and documents results.
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
- Provide assistance to students, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Control disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating volatile situations.
- Transport students as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be Able to pass Any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must possess a current and valid driver's license
- Commercial Driver's License with Air Brake and passenger endorsements is a plus
- A valid driver's license in the state of assignment with a clear driver history.
- A Undergo a background investigation and drug screen with favorable results.
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
