Paradigm is Hiring a Sales Technician Near Middleton, WI

Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Sales Technician to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

You will be responsible for working directly with our customer success, sales, product, and professional services teams. You will be responsible for building strong relationships internally and externally as a trusted technical and business advisor.

What You Will Do:

  • You will interact directly with current and prospective customers to consult on sales, operational and manufacturing needs, as well as Paradigm software and industry best practices. You will be an expert with the Paradigm product suite.
  • You will partner the Customer Success and Account Management teams to help ensure our customers are getting maximum value out of Paradigm’s software solutions and are thrilled with our technology and partnership. You will help drive our customer’s success!
  • You will partner with the Sales team in the qualification of new sales opportunities, understand customer requirements, demonstrate Paradigm’s products, and be able to articulate the value proposition of Paradigm’s software solutions to stakeholders and executives.
  • You will partner with the Professional Services team to provide smooth handoffs and knowledge transfer for new customer projects and opportunities. You will assist in the creative solutioning of especially challenging customer requests.
  • You will generate revenue by listening to customer needs and transforming these into actionable projects for Paradigm’s Professional Services division.
  • You will assist with responses to customer requests for information, including proposals and providing technical guidance completing RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • You will help shape the product as you are implementing. You will need to be aware of product strategies and roadmaps and be able to articulate these to customers and prospects, listening and bringing feedback to Product Owners to help affect change.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Success, or Software Sales/Solutioning.
  • Strong critical thinking and proven problem-solving skills. Creativity and the ability to think around barriers is a must.
  • Excellent customer service instincts and strong communication/soft skills (both written & verbal). You are very organized and detail oriented, and always follow-through.
  • The ability to communicating complex concepts to businesspeople without technical expertise, and confidently present to large groups.
  • Flexibility: you are agile and able to adapt to changing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are self-motivated and resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills, and comfortable working individually or with a team. You build strong working relationships and earn the trust of customers and co-workers.
