Paradigm Information Services is Hiring a Structural Engineer EI Near Rogers, AR
Paradigm is seeking a Structural Engineer EI to assist our client, a leader in the timber equipment manufacturing industry, with help in the modeling and analysis of structures. The ideal candidate will be confident in utilizing design best practices, and spearheading improvements.
Type: Direct hire / Permanent, Full-time hours
Location: Rogers, AR (On-Site)

As a Structural Engineer EI, you will:
- Work under the supervision of Licensed PE.
- Model and analyze structures and foundations using RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection, Hilti Profis.
- New construction and retro fit applications.
- Develop familiarity with IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318 etc.
- Develop design drawings with the help of drafting/design staff in Autodesk Revit, and Auto CAD.
- Assist in preparation of specifications for civil/structural trades for projects.
- Coordinate with owner and contractor through construction.
- Shop drawing review and approval.
- RFI’s.
- Inspections and site visits.
- Design of equipment support structures for process equipment.
- Design of foundations for pre-engineered metal buildings, large equipment, radial cranes, sub-steel structures.
- Familiarity with all conventional shallow and deep foundation systems.
- Design of masonry and light framed construction office buildings and MCC rooms.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- NCEES Engineer Intern (E.I. or E.I.T.) certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer competency.
- Available for intermittent overnight travel.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, RISA or similar structural design software.
- Familiarity with structural drawings and drawing practices.
