If you are a creative, ambitious people-person with experience in the healthcare field, Paradigm Healthcare has an amazing opportunity for you! We are seeking Recruitment Specialist to help build a team of motivated and talented individuals for 15 Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Summary / Objective

In keeping with our organization’s goals, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible communicating the company’s vision to prospective employees and effectively recruiting talented, dedicated, and motivated individuals to join our team.

Success in this position is measured by recruiting and onboarding talented team members to achieve exemplary care by exemplary people.

Job Duties

  • Oversee and coordinate the recruitment efforts with HR Directors and other personnel at long term care facilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate with facility hiring managers effective processes for setting up interviews with talented applicants and hiring and successful candidates
  • Support facility personnel in recruitment and onboarding as directed and assigned
  • Ensure a strong candidate pipeline for current and future roles at the facility
  • Review online job postings on job boards to successfully market employment at the facilities to increase the number of qualified applicants
  • Engage in networking on social media, cold calling, and other platforms to advertise work opportunities and search for qualified candidates
  • Coordinate personnel recruitment activities
  • Perform phone and in-person interviews with candidates
  • Conduct initial eligibility and / or selection of candidates for hiring managers to review for specific positions
  • Communicate with applicants and new hires via phone, text, and email to schedule orientation and achieve successful onboarding of new team members
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance and best practices to facility personnel for successful recruitment and onboarding efforts
  • Verify background checks, licenses, and application data on applications for specific positions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations as well as company policies
  • Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons associated with separation and incorporate findings into recruitment procedures

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

In-person / office. Although this is a Monday through Friday position, in the world of nursing homes, significant events can occur at any given time.

Ongoing direction and support may be necessary if systems are not properly implemented, continuously improved upon, and monitored.

After hours calls may be necessary at times.

Travel

The employee will also be expected to travel as needed to multiple facilities and locations.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • College degree (degree in communications, human resources, or related field preferred)
  • 2 years or more experience in a related position in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in a ATS and / or Paycom (preferred)
