Strategic Staffing Solutions is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer

Location: Houston, TX or San Ramon, CA.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to lead our project focused on enhancing the security and compliance of our network infrastructure. This role involves reviewing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) controls for Cisco routers and firewalls, developing Network Configuration Manager (NCM) scripts for compliance, and overseeing the integration process with ServiceNow GRC.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the review of STIGs controls for Cisco routers and firewalls to determine applicability for our organization, with a focus on Operational Technology (OT) environments. Develop and deliver NCM scripts for STIGs controls in scope, ensuring complete compliance for Cisco routers and firewalls. Oversee the testing of NCM scripts in a lab environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in compliance checks. Lead the integration process of compliance reporting from SolarWinds to ServiceNow GRC, including testing and final implementation. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SAT/FAT documents, playbook operations, and support materials. Collaborate closely with network engineers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in network security, specifically with Cisco routers and firewalls. Strong understanding of STIGs controls and experience in applying them in an OT environment. Proficient in developing and testing NCM scripts for network devices. Experience with SolarWinds and ServiceNow GRC integration. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
