Thank you for your interest in a Floral Sales Associate(Temporary) position at Parade of Flowers. We are seeking dedicated, friendly sales associates to service our influx of customers for the Valentine's Day Holiday. This is a temporary position (about 5-7 days), however associates with exceptional performance may be offered a permanent role.

**YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EACH DAY FROM 02/11/2024 - 02/15/2024. AND AVAILABLE WITHIN THE HOURS OF 8:00AM-7:00PM**

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers into the store.
• Assisting customers in selecting the best products for their needs.
• Recommending related products and add-on items to increase customers’ options and enrich the shopping experience.
• Resolving customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Accepting and processing orders, operating the POS register and resolving returns issues.
• Processing flowers (Removing packaging, cutting stems, putting them in water)
• Maintaining the appearance of the store.
• Staying knowledgeable about our range of flowers, plants, gift items, and services.
• Explaining the flower and plant care procedures.
• Promoting special sales, offers, and services.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Requirements

• Experience as a Retail Sales associate, Customer Service representative or similar role
• Basic understanding of flower shop practices
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
