SummaryManages, delegates and coordinates activities of the night crew department while achieving labor goals, development of staff, expense control, merchandising/displays, and inventory levels, and that all applicable laws, policies and procedures are followed for positive working conditions for our employees. Responsibilities: Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.Supervises night crew.Responsible for training and cross-training night crew members.Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space; merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received.Cut and stock merchandise according to store specifications (cardboard exposure, consistency and uniformity) within the time allowed for the assigned task.Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.Must be able to build and set up displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.Ability to use cutter knife.Must be able to operate power equipment such as pallet jack and electric forklift.Ability to read and understand shelf tags and case labels in order to maintain pricing accuracy.Must be 18 years of age.Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: Effective communication with your team of subordinates as well as your Store Director. Ability to lead team members and handle employee relation issues as they arise.Ability to adapt to constant changing situations, whether staff or business related.Ability to work under pressure.Flexibility in schedule. Available for overtime.
