Overview:
Paper & Ink LLC - the Albion News-Boone County Tribune - is seeking a self-starting, motivated, creative graphic designer for a seven-newspaper group in Northeast Nebraska. Full-time position could be located at Albion or Plainview.

Qualified candidates should be familiar with all Microsoft products, InDesign/Photoshop, Quark or other layout programs. Company will provide the tools to make you successful.

Print advertising, digital advertising, flyers, brochures, inserts, multi-page print sections, business cards, logo and brand design, plus more are possible.

This is not a starter position. Pay will be commensurate with experience AND ability.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Quark Express, Microsoft Publisher, Canva, etc.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity - samples are required, and production during the interview will be required.
- Knowledge of layout design principles and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - often times while working with short timeframes and minimal assistance.

Paper & Ink LLC is owned and operated by Brook D. and April Curtiss of Plainview - and the company operates seven newspapers in northeast Nebraska: Albion News-Boone County Tribune, Atkinson Graphic, Crofton Journal, Niobrara Tribune, Petersburg Press, Plainview News and Wakefield Republican.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
