You'll provide a helping hand with daily living activities, ensuring their continued independence and comfort within the familiar surroundings of their own homes. You'll also be a source of companionship and emotional support, fostering a sense of connection and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a dependable caregiver, assisting clients with essential tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment by handling light housekeeping duties.
  • Doing errands or helping in shopping at local shops or stores
  • Become a trusted companion, engaging in conversation and activities that bring them joy and keep them mentally stimulated.
  • Be a keen observer, monitoring clients' overall well-being and reporting any changes to the care team to ensure their continued health.
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of the care provided, ensuring clear communication and continuity.

Qualifications:

  • We're seeking a patient and caregiver with a passion for supporting clients. While prior experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia is a plus, it's not required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.
  • You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients, families, and fellow team members.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor is key, as you'll be providing emotional support and a sense of security to our clients.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for this role.
