Be a Companion on the Road: Driver Needed at Papa's Place (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Do you enjoy being behind the wheel and helping others? Papa's Place is seeking a reliable and friendly driver to join our team! In this role, you'll be an essential part of our mission to empower seniors by providing them with transportation to and from the Day Center in their personally owned vehicle. You'll ensure they get there safely and comfortably, all while fostering meaningful connections.

Responsibilities:

• Assist seniors with getting in and out of the vehicle
• Follow safe driving practices and traffic rules
• Ensure the safety and comfort of seniors during transport
• Be punctual and dependable in arriving at pick-up locations
• Communicate effectively with seniors and their families
• Report and issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Provide exceptional customer service to seniors and their families
• Maintain accurate records of trips and mileage

Here's what we're looking for:

• Roadmaster Skills: You possess a Valid Driver's license with a clean record, demonstrating your ability to navigate the roads safely and confidently.
• Experience Under Your Belt: You're at least 21 years old, bringing a level of maturity and experience to the role.
• A Lifelong Learner: You hold a high school diploma or equivalent, showcasing your commitment to learning and development.
• Helping Hand: You're able to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally assisting seniors getting in and out of the vehicle.
• Communication Champion: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive and clear interactions with our valued seniors.
• A Compassionate Heart: You have a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine compassion for seniors, making them feel comfortable and cared for throughout their journeys.
• Flexible Scheduler: You're available to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, offering valuable support on these designated days.
• Safety First: You're committed to safety, willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
• Prepared for Emergencies: You're eager to become CPR/First Aid certified – we'll provide the training to ensure you're equipped to handle any situation.
• Insured for the Road: You currently have or can obtain car insurance with a liability coverage of $250,000-500,000 per accident, providing peace of mind for everyone.
