Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts
- Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served according to company standards
- Manage and train staff members, including conducting interviews and providing ongoing coaching and feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong kitchen management skills, including knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a similar leadership role
- Familiarity with catering operations and banquet services
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of restaurant management best practices, including inventory control and labor cost management
- Ability to effectively manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback
- Experience in shift management, including creating schedules and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts
- Strong interviewing skills to identify qualified candidates for open positions
- Culinary background or understanding is preferred but not required
