We are looking for a mission-driven Dental Hygienist to provide excellent oral healthcare to underserved populations. Our Dental Hygienists complete patient screenings, take radiographs, remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth, apply sealants and fluoride treatments, and create teeth impressions. They also educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene such as tooth brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
This position is located on our main campus (30th & L). This position may be either part-time or full-time depending on the candidates availability. If you are interested in part-time employment, please indicate your availability in your application.
This is an hourly position; meaning the pay is not based on production or collections, and any overtime would be paid at 1.5 X's the regular hourly rate.
To ensure the safety of our patients, employees, and communities, OneWorld Community Health Centers is requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 effective November 15th, 2021. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- License to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Nebraska required. (Or license eligible.)
- License as a Public Health Hygienist preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- One or more years of dental hygiene experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred.
