Job Overview:

Panda Windows and Doors is seeking a skilled Windows and Doors Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas such as hand tools, electrical work, trim carpentry, fabrication, mechanical knowledge, door hanging, and metal stud framing.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain windows and doors in residential and commercial settings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently

- Ensuring proper measurements, alignment, and sealing for optimal performance and aesthetic appeal.

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at job sites.
- Perform electrical work related to window and door installations
- Conduct trim carpentry to ensure proper fitting of windows and doors
- Fabricate custom pieces as needed for unique window or door installations
- Install cabinets as part of window or door remodeling projects
- Weld metal components for structural integrity
- Repair drywall around windows and doors as necessary
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with windows and doors

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and safety regulations.

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, measuring devices, and installation equipment.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Willingness to undergo training and certification programs as needed.

- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for installation and repairs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
