Webapps Summer Intern- Irvine, CA

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking motivated Webapps Summer Intern- IT to join our growing Engineering team in our Irvine, CA office. This paid internship will start in May/June and continue through August/September 2024 with an opportunity to potentially continue through the school year.

How you will spend your summer:

• IT Web Apps has multiple upcoming projects including Hardware Asset Management, Consultant Onboarding to Workday, ITSM enhancement. The students will help the team at multiple stages of the development lifecycle like but not limited to QA, user communication, UAT assistance etc.
• The students will gain a good understanding of Agile and other software development lifecycle processes. The students will get familiar with platforms like ServiceNow, Sitefinity, and TEAMS used during the process.
• The students will get a brief understanding of the different components of a web application
• The projects that the intern will be involved in helping improve efficiency for internal employees, reduce technical debt and security risks

What you bring to the internship:

• Undergrad with a degree in Computer Science or something similar
• Be comfortable with MS Office suite
• Ability to plan IT activities to perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others, take verbal as well as written instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally to all levels of the organization as well as external customers.
• Learn to use professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve basic and routine issues.
• Generally applies existing practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25- $36. The final offer amount may vary and is based on the candidates' year in school. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
