Panaprint, Inc. one of middle Georgia's largest printing companies is looking for a qualified Plating Technician. Plating technicians set the foundation for successful printing production.

The ideal candidate will have the following Job Responsibilities:

• Retrieves job jackets from the “ready to plate” job bins.
• Confirm jobs are “Ok to Print” & Final.
• Output printing plates from the computer-to-plate software (Prinergy).
• Performs quality inspection of the plates to ensure they meet specifications and to identify any imperfections.
• Cover the finished plates with paper and place them on a cart and transport them to the pressroom to the correct printing press.
• Maintains production records according to required protocols.
• Verify plate counts in the auto loaders & load plates as needed.
• Cleans processing equipment and maintains supply inventory.
• Plating Technician follows all required quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous Printing and Plate Making Experience is a plus.
• Previous work in a Production-Based environment
• Computer Skills
• High degree of initiative and attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift moderate weight (1-50 lbs.) periodically throughout shift.

A pre-employment drug screen is mandatory.
