JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
Panacea Life Sciences is focused on making safe, high-quality nutraceutical products for people and pets looking for alternatives to harsh pharmaceuticals. We began our business as a vertically integrated CBD company in 2017 and expanded in 2023 to include contract manufacturing of supplements for our growing corporate customer base. Our business mission is to become the lowest cost, highest quality nutraceutical producer in the markets we serve by utilizing current good manufacturing practices, offering consistent quality assurance with products free from pesticides and heavy metals, and sourcing state of the art equipment, efficient methods, and the purest ingredients.

Panacea is looking for a Purchasing Agent who can take on today’s supply chain challenges and keep our projects moving. This organized and detailed planner, and strong communicator will be responsible for the procurement activities of all materials, ingredients, and products for our cGMP biotech manufacturing company. All processes from researching and acquiring suppliers to purchasing quality ingredients, receiving goods and maintaining inventory levels will be in scope.

Essential Functions:

· Maintain good relationships with suppliers and logistical contacts.

· Evaluate and source vendors of materials and ingredients that meet GMP and company needs.

· Utilizes SAP to purchase ingredients and materials for manufacturing projects.

· Forecast raw goods and ingredients to support operations and production planning.

· Monitor receipt of goods to process vendor invoices and payments.

· Update and reconcile SAP with procurement transactions.

· Maintain SAP accounts for procured materials and inventory.

· Maintain inventory of all raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished products

· Research and address any reconciliation discrepancies.

· Compile data for reporting needs.

· Communicate effectively with all departments and all levels of personnel.

· Perform quarterly/annual inventory counts.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences

· 2 year’s experience with supply chain/logistics preferred

· ERP experience required

· SAP experience helpful

· GMP Facility experience preferred

· Accounting experience helpful

Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a Regular Full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday within the 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM window. However, the position may require additional hours to complete the assigned work in a timely manner.

Travel.:

All work is required onsite at Golden facility. Some travel may be required from time to time for business purposes.
