Highly rated dermatology office seeking a FULL-TIME Medical Assistant / Nurse. Preference will be given to experienced candidates as well as graduates with degrees in biology, health science, or nursing fields of study, though a college degree is not absolutely required.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare patients for exam and treatment by taking detailed histories, recording symptoms, chief complaints, and patient data
• Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
• Coordinate and manage patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of patients for other ancillary medical treatments and tests
• Responsible for communicating test results to patients
• Provide clerical support with patient/client notification and documentation
• Order supplies and stock patient care areas
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients

Salary dependent on experience.
