About this opportunity

Our team in Laredo is currently searching for a Forklift Technician to join our workshop crew! This position involves providing maintenance for forklifts.

Pay and Schedule

• This position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm.
• Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 depending on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, and service, hydraulic, propane and electric powered forklifts.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
• Schedule maintenance for company machines and equipment and keep equipment service records.

What makes you a strong candidate for this position?

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
