The Details: We are looking for an experienced personal lines underwriting leader to join our company and hit the ground running as a contributor within the personal lines team. This role will focus on underwriting profitability of existing residential lines of business including flood, hurricane, and earthquake. This role will work in close collaboration with product owners to help build product specifications.

. A successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously and be deadline driven.

What will you do?:

· Lead customer service and front-line personal lines underwriting team

· Collaborate with Technology team to ensure successful product implementations

· Engage with claims team to understand and report trends in claim frequency and severity

· Prepare monthly and quarterly program management reports

· Ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed

· Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant field – minimum requirement

· 5 years’ experience in insurance personal lines underwriting or product management

· Ability to organize, self-prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with demanding internal and external deadlines

· Microsoft Office skills required – Advanced Excel, Intermediate Word, Intermediate Power Point

· Strong interpersonal skills. Collaborative team player a must

· Proficiency in database tools such as Access and SQL

· Proficiency in geospatial tools such as ARCGIS or QGIS.

Pay Range: $132,500-200,000

The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
