Palo Verde Behavioral Health is Hiring a RN OUTPATIENT Near Tucson, AZ

Responsibilities:
Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PVBH is an 84 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.
Palo Verde is seeking a talented RN to work in our outpatient setting. The Outpatient Nurse provide safe and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing Services. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse promote a climate of effective performance and learning through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff.
This position is Monday - Friday (8a-5p).

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program required; Current licensure as a Registered nurse thorough the State of Arizona.


Experience:
Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting and/or prior intake and admissions experience preferred.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
: Must be certified in CPR upon hire and bi-annually thereafter and must possess or obtain and be able to perform Handle With Care within 30 days of hire and re-certify as needed. Must complete all required mandatory in-services annually. Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain. Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire and as required thereafter.
