Position Overview:

Pure Storage is committed to providing a best-in-class Sales onboarding experience for our worldwide seller community. We are looking for a strategic, dynamic, and passionate Manager to join our Global Enablement organization and lead our Global Sales Onboarding program. This individual will be responsible for leading our Onboarding strategy and approach, while influencing, evolving, and integrating the role-based onboarding journeys for multiple sales roles, including sales, partner sales, and sales leaders. This leader will manage both direct and indirect staff responsible for role-specific learning experiences.

A successful candidate will work collaboratively with Enablement, Sales, Sales Ops, and Marketing to design, deliver, and orchestrate comprehensive sales onboarding journeys that accelerate our sellers onboarding and productivity, achieve measurable results, and deliver a world-class enablement experience for new hires.

The ideal candidate is an experienced people manager who is passionate about learning and has a proven track record of delivering globally-focused, high impact sales onboarding and enablement programs. Additionally, a successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively and cross-functionally, leading a team of direct and indirect staff to deliver relevant, engaging, and results-oriented learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager of Global Onboarding, you will be responsible for managing the creation, evolution, and orchestration of a Global Sales Onboarding program, which includes:

  • Leading a team of program managers to develop and deliver global and role-specific onboarding journeys.
  • Collaborating and influencing cross-functionally to plan, design, deliver, and measure the Global Onboarding program, which includes self-paced learning, live in-person workshops, virtual learning experiences, and more.
  • Leading key initiatives and the team responsible for designing and developing new or updated role-based onboarding journeys for multiple sales roles.
  • Establishing and evolving Onboarding program operational processes and standards, ensuring a consistent new hire experience across all selling roles, while improving team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Managing and influencing stakeholders and content contributors to ensure delivery of a high quality, consistent, and reliable onboarding program that effectively supports multiple sales roles and levels.
  • Measuring program effectiveness and business impact, ensuring Onboarding programs successfully bring new hires to full productivity.
  • Analyzing participant performance to identify opportunities to improve and expand the program.
  • Building and managing a roadmap to develop and evolve the program in pace with business changes and product portfolio growth.
  • Engaging, aligning, and communicating with program stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Lines of Business, and Executive Staff.
  • Partnering with Sales and within Enablement to ensure Onboarding program alignment with other role-base enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Managing end-to-end program, participant, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of combined experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Onboarding, and Program Management.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a direct staff of Sales Enablement program managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and orchestrate global, scalable learning programs to increase sales performance and drive desired outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and solid understanding of sales motions, sales process, and sales metrics.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • A passion for learning with energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong team-oriented leadership skills, with the ability to build rapport, collaborate, motivate, influence, and advise direct and indirect staff.
  • Experience measuring program effectiveness.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • PMP certification a plus.
Pay Range:
USD $145,000.00 - USD $218,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement:

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
