Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking, packing, and shipping product using the warehouse management system. This position is also responsible for reporting any errors or discrepancies to their supervisor to be resolved. Warehouse associates may be assigned to additional duties to assist the department where needed.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

§ Responsible for processing requests; selecting, pulling, packing, labeling and shipping orders. 

§ Read orders to ascertain description; sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise 

§ Identify product discrepancies and proactively resolve issues regarding them 

§ Builds and breaks down cargo containers and pallets using necessary equipment. 

§ Sorts, dimentionalizes, and labels freight using necessary equipment 

§ Report to work and from all breaks on time.

§ Be accountable for work performance and all actions regarding the duties and responsibilities as it relates to the position.

§ Be accountable and responsible for the proper use and care of company equipment. Reference employee handbook for further information regarding this. Ensure that scanners are placed on the charger and not left unattended on the warehouse floor during breaks, lunch periods, or at the close of business.

Special Projects/Other Duties: 

§ Perform tasks related to shipping and transportation of orders; perform all functions of cargo handling including, but not limited to: processing, loading, and off-loading freight. 

§ Cleaning and maintenance 

§ Possible use of other company equipment safely (forklift, scissor lift, etc). 

§ Required to stay current on all shipping regulations and procedures and ensure that employees are adhering to these changes. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements. 

§ Understands, follows, and enforces the Supply Chain Philosophy. Has a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these. 

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Knowledge and Skills

• Must have working knowledge of palletjack and/or forklift, certified a plus. 
• Warehouse associates need to apply basic math skills. 
• Safety awareness

• Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly and timely. 
• Must be able to multi-task. 
• Maintain a positive attitude, goal driven and focused on the overall strategic picture of the organization and follow through with tasks assigned. 
• Dependable and deadline oriented.

 Physical Requirements: Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing, as well as handling paperwork. Team Members will be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 pounds up to 60 pounds. 

Must be at least 18 years of age.
