The stores carry countless affordable gifts and a wide selection of collegiate gear and lifestyle brands including Vineyard Vines, YETI, Chubbies, Patagonia, Southern Marsh, Simply Southern, Hey Dude, Hippie Runner, Old Row, Kan Can, Costa, Columbia, Rainbow Sandals, Olukai, Brumate, Mud Pie, and many more.
We are currently looking for energetic and friendly Sales Associates . The most important responsibility at Palmetto Moon is taking care of the customer. He or she must be friendly and interact with customers and associates in a positive way. A Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager and management team. This position will assist with product inquiries, shipment, inventory, register, merchandising, and replenishment.
Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Provides product knowledge to our customers
• Works as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives
• Be aware of any back stock and replenish sales floor as needed
• Floor coverage flexibility; is visible on the selling floor
• Knows and properly executes POS procedures to ensure a quick transaction
• Effectively handles multiple customers
• Practices suggestive selling
• Communicates effectively with associates and management
• Maintain professional attitude
• Package merchandise with care
• Shortage awareness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply
• Enjoys meeting and interacting with customers
• Dependable and flexible with scheduled shifts
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Detail oriented
• Physical Requirements - ability to bend, twist, stoop and stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift materials up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
